Instructions

  1. General Skin Cleaning

    • 1

Keep your hands clean. They spread dirt and germs to the other parts of your body which can spread bacteria which can cause infections and skin irritations. A good hand washing will last about the time it'll take you to say the alphabet at a regular speech speed.

    • 2

To wash your hands properly, wet them in water that is comfortably warm. Lather them up with a mild soap, preferably not an antibacterial soap because these soap kill good bacteria too. You may want to use a moisturizing soap. Rub your wrists and under your nails as well.

    • 3

Shower in warm water, not hot or cold water. Hot water will dry out your skin and cold water will shock it. Use a gentle soap so as to not damage the tissues when you clean your skin.

    • 4

Rinse off all soap residues off of your skin after you bath to make sure that nothing is left on your skin to dry it out.

Clean the Skin on Your Face

    • 5

Remove every last trace of makeup every night before you go to bed. This cleansing will prevent clogging pores which can cause blemishes and skin irritations. Use a gentle skin cleanser for your type of skin. Cleansers are more effective than water alone because they act as emulsifiers that remove dirt, bacteria and excess natural skin oils.

    • 6

Pat your face gently to dry it. Rubbing it briskly will not increase circulation and give you a healthy, rosy glow. Rubbing the delicate skin tissues on your face will simply irritate it and dry it out.

    • 7

Exfoliate once or twice a week to remove dead skin cells. Use a gentle exfoliant of professional grade to do this so you don't irritate your skin.
