How to use Snap to Rulers in Microsoft Publisher
The Snap to Rulers command in Microsoft Publisher 2007 will snap any object placed in the document to the nearest ruler increment. When it is turned on, this tool helps you line up and arrange objects within your Publisher document.
Instructions

1
Start Microsoft Publisher 2007 and open an existing document from your files that contains an object you would like to snap to rulers.
-
2
Select the "Arrange" menu, point to "Snap" and choose "To Ruler Marks." A black check mark surrounded in an orange box will appear before "To Ruler Marks" to indicate that this option is turned on. Turning on this option causes the next object that is moved in the publication to "snap to" the ruler marks.
