How to Make a Napkin Rosebud
Folding a cloth napkin into an interesting shape is a elegant way to add flair to your dinner table. The popular rosebud shape allows the napkin to stand upright on the plate and add dimension to your table setting. Make sure your napkin is free of wrinkles before you begin. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

-
1
Spread the napkin face down in front of you on a flat surface.
-
2
Fold the napkin in half diagonally to form a triangle. The longest side of the triangle should be nearest to you with the middle point farthest from you.
-
-
3
Fold the two outer corners so they meet at the top point, but don't overlap. Now the napkin should look like a diamond shape.
-
4
Flip the napkin over without rotating it at all. Fold the bottom point three-fourths of the way up toward the top point.
-
5
Turn the napkin over again. Bring the outer corners together and tuck one into the other. The folded napkin should form a cylindrical shape that resembles the petals of a rosebud.
-
6
Place the napkin rosebud upright on a plate or in a glass.
