How to Sleep at Work

Sometimes, because of different reasons, you may find that you are so tired that you need a nap while you are at work. This problem is common among most workers, but it is most common with third-shift employees. Sleeping at work is risky. You may be fired if you are caught.

Instructions

Place your head in your hands while you are bent over at your desk. Make sure that you put something on your desk so it looks likes you are reviewing an important document.

    • 2

Find a place to hide. You can sleep under your desk if you are tired enough. If you work at a place without desks, you can try to find a place to sleep, such as in a stock room or janitorial closet. Make sure that your co-workers think you are gone on an important work-related errand.

Lock your door, and sleep on the couch in your office or with your head on your desk. This is possible if you have your own office. If you have a secretary, tell her that you are preparing an important report and that she should take messages for you instead of sending calls through to you.

Take a trip to the bathroom. You can sit on the toilet, and lean against the wall to go to sleep. Make sure that you have someone who can come get you if your boss starts to wonder where you are.

Get stickers that look like open eyes. Place them on your eyelids. You can make these for yourself or you can try to find them at a local gag gift store.
