Casinos have what they call a "house edge," and these odds are controlled by the casino. They regulate the amount of payment to the winners. Here are some casino games, however, that you can play that eliminate the house edge factor.

From Quick Guide: Playing Casino Games
Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Familiarize yourself with Texas Hold 'Em poker, and play this game to reap the most benefits. This game eliminates the dealer or middleman, so you and the other players are the only ones that profit. However, you need adequate skill in winning this game, so your best bet is playing this game in a cruise ship casino where there are likely no professional card players.

  2. Step 2

Educate yourself with Texas Hold 'Em by playing with online training websites. This version of game play has zero house edge (see Resources below).

  3. Step 3

Play blackjack where the odds vary and the proportions change as the dealer deals the cards. This casino favorite only has a house edge from 20 to 60 percent. You can read Thorp's book "Beat the Dealer," but take precaution in using this method, because casinos don't take to kindly to it (see Resources below).

  4. Step 4

Participate in Craps as the next best bet. Place a wager on the Odds bet to lower the house edge. Wage a secondary bet behind the Pass Line in a casino that has Full Odds as an option, which means you minimize any profit the house may accrue.
