Things You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup liquid castile soap
  • 1 tsp. cold pressed olive oil
  • Plastic bottle
  • 1/2 cup distilled water
  • Small saucepan
  • 4 to 6 tbsps. of your favorite herbs
  • Heatproof container with lid
  • Cheesecloth
  • 1 tsp. liquid castile soap
  • 2 tsp. pure organic honey
  • 1 bar of castile soap
  • Plastic container
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 drops lavender essential oil

Instructions

  1. Herbal Castile Shampoo

    • 1

      Pour the liquid castile soap and cold pressed olive oil into a plastic bottle and shake to mix.

      Put the distilled water in a small saucepan and bring it to a boil.

      Place 4 to 6 tbsps. of your favorite herbs in a heatproof container and pour the water over the herbs.

      Cover the container and let the herbs steep for 20 to 30 minutes.

      Strain the mixture through cheesecloth to remove the herbs, and transfer the herbal water to the bottle of castile soap and olive oil. Shake to blend.

    Honey and Castile Facial Cleanser

      Pour the liquid castile soap in the palm of your hand.

      Add the pure organic honey and blend it with the tip of your finger.

      Massage the mixture into your face until it forms a lather.

      Rinse your face with cool water and pat it dry.

    Lavender Bubble Bath

      Grate the bar of of castile soap and place it in a plastic container.

      Add the water and lavender essential oil, and shake well to blend.

      Pour a bit of the lavender bubble bath in warm running water.
