How to Make Peanut Butter and Honey Dog Biscuits

Humans like an occasional sweet treat, and our dogs are no different. You can satisfy your dog's sweet tooth with some peanut butter and honey dog biscuits. The ingredients are so healthy and natural that you might like them too, but be sure to leave enough for your canine pal.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large baking sheet
  • Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. smooth peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp. pure honey
  • 1 large microwave safe bowl
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup old fashioned oatmeal
  • Wire rack
  • Airtight container
  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and coat a large baking sheet with vegetable oil.

  2. Step 2

    Place the smooth peanut butter and pure honey in a large microwave safe bowl and heat it for a few seconds until it's thin and runny.

  3. Step 3

    Stir in the all purpose flour, large egg, salt, baking soda, pure vanilla extract, oil and fashioned oatmeal. Blend well.

  4. Step 4

    Drop the mixture onto the greased baking sheet by small teaspoons and bake them for 8 to 10 minutes.

  5. Step 5

    Remove the peanut butter and honey dog biscuits from the oven, and let them cool on a wire rack.

  6. Step 6

    Store the peanut butter and honey dog biscuits in an airtight container. They will keep longer if you store them in the refrigerator.
