How to Create a Spa Menu
If you're opening a salon or a spa, you'll need to create a menu for your clients to view. This also serves as a marketing tool to entice prospective customers to come to your establishment.

1
Think about what services you'd like to offer your clients. This will depend on your town's demographics. If you live in a town with lots of young people, you might want to offer things such as body wraps and scrubs. If your town has more of an elderly population, clients will be more likely to seek massages and paraffin treatments.

2
Consider the cost of offering different services. Obviously, you're out to make a profit and after you pay for supplies, labor, overhead and marketing, you still need to make some money for yourself.
-
-
3
Choose services that you think will appeal to different kinds of people. You'll want something to offer everyone, including men. Only offer services that your employees can perform; and if you want to expand, you can hire new people or train your current employees how to do the new service.
-
4
Come up with unique names for your services. You want the name to basically explain what the service is but it should be memorable as well.
-
5
Organize your menu by type of service. List all massages together, with the description and price of each, then all your facials, body wraps, etc. The most popular services should come first, and then go in ascending order of price within each grouping. Play with it to see what works best for you.
-
6
Design a tri-fold brochure featuring your spa menu. You can display these menus in your lobby for clients to take with them. Also, put your menu on your website. You might also want to include pictures depicting each service.
