    Things You'll Need

    • Medium saucepan
    • 1/2 fresh lemon
    • 2 tbsp. honey
    • 1 cup white sugar
    • Multiple cotton strips (cut to 1/2 to 1 inch by 3 1/2 inches)
    • Popsicle stick
      • 1

Measure the juice from 1/2 of a lemon, 2 tbsp. of honey and 1 cup of white sugar into a medium saucepan. Heat the ingredients on low to medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved.

      • 2

Allow the sugar mixture to cool for about 10 minutes, or until it is comfortable for application on the skin. In the meantime, cut a few dozen cotton strips that are 1/2 to 1 inches thick and about 3 1/2 inches long. You can use old sheets, cloth scraps purchased at the fabric store, or just about and firm, cotton fabric.

Use a Popsicle stick to apply the honey sugar hair remover to your skin, just as you would wax. Make sure that you apply enough remover to fully cover the hair, and that you apply the remove in the directly that the hair is growing.

Place a cotton strip on top of the remover and rub it down firmly in the directly of the hair. Leave the cotton in place for a few seconds, allowing the remover to cool slightly and then lift the edge of the cotton strip and remove quickly against the hair growth. Reheat the honey sugar hair remover if necessary and continue apply and remove cotton strips until all unwanted hair has been removed.
