You do NOT need to log night dives to entrol on an instructor Development Course. You do NOT need to work as as Assistant Instructor before becoming an Instructor - you can go all the way from Divemaster level up to Instructor level in one go. You do NOT need to find a CPR course off your own back as the dive centre that conducts your Instructor Development Course can also certify you in CPR and First Aid.
