A Medic First Aid provides emergency training to people in businesses as well as people in the general public. Training programs include basic first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, defibrillator training and blood borne pathogens instruction, among many others. If you want to be a Medic First Aid Instructor, there are specific requirements you must complete first.

Instructions

1. Complete the student version of the Medic First Aid courses you want to teach. This gives you knowledge of the content and an understanding of the necessary physical skills you must possess to perform quality emergency care.

2. Get acquainted with the program through instructor self-study to learn most of the basic course information. Find Medic First Aid instructor training materials online at Medic First Aid.

3. Attend and complete Medic First Aid Instructor courses at a training center. Locate courses through the Medic First Aid website. Learn the methods instructors use in Medic First Aid courses including live demonstrations, small group participation, performance evaluations and discussion scenarios.

4. Download the Medic First Aid Instructor application online at Medic First Aid. Fill it out completely. Include copies of your current credentials and submit them to the Medic First Aid Training center director.

5. Affiliate with a Medic First Aid training center. When you complete the instructor training, you may teach for one or several Medic First Aid training centers. Submit your application to each center where you want to teach.
