Gather up some new recipes for Christmas cookies. If you are tired of making the same old tree shaped cookies, spice up your baking experience by testing out a few new recipes. If you make more cookies than you and your family can eat, consider taking some to a local senior center and spreading some Christmas spirit.

Turn up the volume on your favorite Christmas songs. It doesn't matter what you are doing. Whether you are cleaning the house or just sitting and relaxing. Put on your best Christmas cd, crank up the volume and sing along. If you feel brave, dance around your house to get your blood pumping.

Have a family night where you sit around and make some decorations for the Christmas tree. It's a time to spend talking, laughing and seeing who can be the most creative. Who knows, it may become a new tradition for your family.

Make your own Christmas cards instead of buying the generic ones at the store. Of course, as you are making them, you should be listening to some Christmas tunes in the background. Not only will you be pleased with all the different cards you create, the people you send them to will love the extra effort.
