Women have been dressing up as black sex kittens since the 1950s. The black sex kitten costume has been around so long because it is simple, sexy and doesn't require much sewing.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Black leotard
  • Cat tail
  • Black headband
  • Safety pin
  • Black construction paper
  • Double stick tape or hot glue
  • Black eyeliner pencil
  1. Step 1

Find a black leotard. A leotard with long sleeves and a V-cut neck works best, but any variation will work fine. Also find some pantyhose, black fishnets or sheer black hose with a seam up the back of the leg. These are the best options for a sex kitten costume. Get a pair of black high heels or high-heeled boots.

  2. Step 2

Create sex kitten ears. Take a piece of black construction paper and cut out two triangular shapes with long bases. Fold the bases over and use hot glue or double stick tape to adhere them to the headband.

  3. Step 3

Make or purchase a tail. Tails can be purchased at a local costume supply shop or simply sew one from any piece of black fabric. To make a sex kitten tail, simply cut a 2-foot by 6-inch rectangle from the black fabric of one's choice. Fold the fabric in half long ways and stitch up the long side and one short end. Turn inside out and attach to the back of the leotard by pinning the underside of the sex kitten tail to the leotard so that the tail covers the safety pin.

  4. Step 4

Apply a sex kitten face. Create a cat nose by drawing a black upside-down triangle on the tip of the nose with a black eyeliner pencil. Draw on whiskers similar to those of a real cat with the black eyeliner pencil.

  5. Step 5

Learn how to purr like a real sex kitten.
