1. Check out www.budgettravel.com or their Budget Travel Magazine for packages and/or discounts for cruise lines, air lines, local travel, and more. Sometimes a package is for an all-inclusive resort which means your stay may also include one spa treatment, deep-sea diving lessons, or swimming with dolphins. • When you're making plans last minute or ahead of time, remember that for many locations, their rates will be significantly lower if you vacation during the shoulder (basically, before Memorial Day, after Labor Day) or off-season.
