How to Make a Cheap and Natural Lotion

I forget where I found this recipe for a natural and inexpensive body lotion. It works great, and can be a great gift.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 2 Cups Epsome Salt
  • 1/4 cup petroleum jelly
  • a few drops of sented oil
  • a bowl to mix it in
  • a bottle for storage or to give as gifts
Step1
Gather ingreadients. Fregrance can be found in many scents (strayberry, lavender, blueberry, etc.) at stores such as The Body Shop or a craft store. All you will need is a few drops so one bottle will last for a long time.
Step2
In a bowl, mix the Epsome salt, petroleum jelly, and the fregrence into a smooth, homoginous cream.
Step3
Fill the bottles of your choice with the mixture. Small squeeze bottles can be bought at craft stores or online. The bottles can be simple or more decrotive. A great way to recycle is to reuse old lotion bottles.
Step4
If you are going to give some lotion away as gifts, think about tying a ribbon around the bottle or adding some other decoration.
