Cleaning your contact lenses will extend the life of the lenses, and save you money on replacement lenses.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Place a small amount of baking soda into the palm of your hand. (approximately the size of a dime)

  2. Step 2

Add saline/contact solution to the baking soda and mix. The mixture should be similar to a paste in texture. If your mixture is to runny or dry, add baking soda and/or solution.

  3. Step 3

Place one contact lens on the mixture and with your finger, gently massage the contact over the mixture. Massage for a few seconds, and repeat if necessary (The same way you would clean your contact with solution). Flip the contact over and repeat for the other side of the lens.

  4. Step 4

Finally, rinse your contact with saline/contact solution.
    Now your contacts are clean!

Tips & Warnings
  • The best thing to do after you clean your contact is to allow them to soak overnight in contact/saline solution.
  • RINSE contact lenses thoroughly.
