Things You'll Need:
- Lemons
- Sugar
- Water
- Measuring Cup
- Saucepan
-
Step 1
Pour 1 cup of sugar and one cup of fresh water into the saucepan.
-
Step 2
Heat the mixture on low and mix every couple of seconds with a spoon, the sugar should begin to dissolve completely, Once it does turn off the heat.
-
Step 3
Squeeze enough lemons to produce 1 cup of lemon juice. (typically 5-6 lemons)
-
Step 4
Mix the lemon Juice and the sugar syrup into a pitcher or any other large container.
-
Step 5
Add 4 cups of Cold water to the pitcher and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
-
Step 6
Taste the lemonade, NO its not quite ready yet!
It'll probably be sour, you'll need to add 1/2 to 1 cup of sugar. Little by little keep tasting and adding sugar to it until it tastes sweet with a little sour kick towards the end.
keep in mind of the amount of sugar it took you to get it just right for later batches, trust me you'll be making more!!! -
Step 7
When its ready add a couple of ices cubes into the pitcher and store for another 20-30 minutes, it tastes much better when it's cold.
-
Step 8
Enjoy!

on 5/25/2009 this seems like a very complicated process with the heating and all. I don't think it's an easy recipe.
