Things You'll Need

• hands
• a smile
• household cleaner of your choice

Instructions

1. 

   Take a deep breath and set aside 15 minutes to bless your home.

   Once you get the hang of this little trick it will make housework more managable then you can ever imagine!

2. 

   Put on a nice apron with pockets.

   Being in uniform helps you 'get in the zone' to get this job done!

3. 

   Walk into a room and start in the furthest left corner

4. 

   Work Top To Bottom

   Left To right

   Work clockwise around just that one room.

5. 

   Don't wast your time making too many uneccesary steps.

   Shove stuff in your pockets and make a pile outside the door of stuff that goes elsewhere.

   You can put that stuff where it goes after you finish the room.

6. 

   Work fast!

   Keep your head down and work quickly, otherwise the task feels like pulling a bandaid off slow.

7. 

   Focus!

   Just do what you are doing.

   Don't get sidetracked by anything - you can do that later.

   My little mantra I say is:

   "one thing at a time and it will all get done"

   Saying that over and over to myself helps me get it done.

8. 

   Put on some sassy music if you need an extra little motivation!

   Adding a little rumpshake to anything never hurts!

9. 

   Be amazed at how clever and efficient you are.

   Enjoy your clean, tidy living space!

• The obvious and fair solution to the housework problem is to let men do the housework for, say, the next six thousand years, to even things up. The trouble is that men, over the years, have developed an inflated notion of the importance of everything they do, so that before long they would turn housework into just as much of a charade as business is now. They would hire secretaries and buy computers and fly off to housework conferences in Bermuda, but they'd never clean anything.
