How to Make Watermelon Lip Gloss

If you've ever dreamed of creating your own cosmetics, you're in luck. Learn how to make your own watermelon lip gloss. You'll no longer have to spend big bucks on low quality lip gloss.

Things You'll Need

• 1 tsp Beeswax (chopped)
• ¼ cup Vegetable or olive oil
• Aluminum foil
• 5 Small tins (Altoid tins work great)
• Plastic spoon
• Watermelon extract

Instructions

1. Pour the oil and beeswax into a microwave safe cup and microwave for about 1 minute. Stir every 15 to 20 seconds until the wax has completely melted.

2. Dip the plastic spoon into the mixture and set on aluminum foil. Put in the freezer for about 1 minute and then remove. If you think the gloss is too hard, add more beeswax to the mixture. If it's not shiny enough, add more oil. Once you've found a mixture you like, move on to Step 3.

3. Add about 5 drops of watermelon extract to the mixture in order to add flavor and scent.

4. Place the mixture into empty tins and then freeze. Once completely frozen, remove them from the fridge. You can use the lip gloss for yourself or give it away to your friends.

• Do not touch the mixture once it has been removed from the microwave as it may seriously burn you.
