What to Name Your Daycare

When you are starting up a daycare, there are going to be plenty of things that you will want to do. One of the most important things is making sure that your daycare has a great name. This should be a name that you like, and one that can help your daycare be successful.

1. Think of the name of your family. There might be something there that you can use to create a name for your daycare.

2. Think about the street you live on, the name of your town, or the name of any group that you are affiliated with. See if there is something that you can use in these things to create a name.

3. Brainstorm the various names that you can use revolving around what you do. Some things you might want to think about include caring, loving, teaching, learning, growing, and supporting. Perhaps you can come up with a name for your daycare using these words and a combination of your names, or the city name where you live.

4. Once you have a name, see if you can make it cuter. For instance, if you have decided on Kind Care, see if you can change it to Kind Kare, or Cind Care. If you can change the way that the names are spelled, you will find that the name is much cuter and will be easier for people to recognize.

5. Check with your phone book and with your city hall to be sure that there is not another business registered with the same name in your town. You want to avoid having the same name as other businesses, so that there is no confusion.
