How to Find Free Pictures For Your Ehow Articles

I've seen many Ehow Articles that don't have photos. There are many ways to get free, legal to use photos to add to your articles. Photos make your articles more interesting and appealing. Here, I'll share my method for finding high-quality pictures for your articles.

Things You’ll Need:

• Ehow Article, or at least an idea
• Computer

1. There are many stock photo sites out there, most of which will give you access to their photos for a small fee. The best free site I've found is listed below in the resources section. Click on the link to visit.
2. Once you're there, just search by keyword in the search bar to the left. There is no need to sign up for an account unless you want to. This site offers free and premium results so make sure you stay with the free photos and don't worry, there are TONS. For example, if you're writing an article on baking a cake, you'd search for "cake" or "cake baking".
3. Just right click on the photo you want and save it to your hard drive. I usually create a new folder for each article I write and save any photos I'll use to this folder, for easier access.

Tips & Warnings

• The premium photo results are always at the very bottom of the page of search results. You can use these for free, technically, but they'll have a watermark imprinted on them if you don't pay. I'd stick to the free photos for a more professional look.
• Hover your mouse over a picture to view the larger image. If there is no watermark, it's yours to save and use as you please.
• I try to get as many photos as possible into an article. This gives you more points and makes your article much more visually appealing. For example, if step one of your article is mixing ingredients, find a picture of a mixing bowl. If step four is put icing on the cake, find a picture of an iced cake.
