Step 1
This weekend order a plain pizza pie. You might be tempted to add some toppings, but you have free toppings at home.

You can add your favorite vegetables and reheat in the oven. I like to add broccoli, carrots, mushrooms and green peppers. I also add extra garlic powder.

Invite your friends over for a pizza party. Tell them to bring their own vegetable toppings in a little baggie. Make it fun by handing out a prize for the best healthy topping.

Eat the pizza in moderation and do not drink soda. Drink water. I would say that two slices with the toppings is more than enough. You can always have pizza for leftovers the next day.

You can also try making your own pizza by buying the pizza dough in your local supermarket. This is cheaper than eating out or ordering in.

This is also helpful for your children and will keep their weight down. Try to avoid giving your children the fatty toppings and definitely avoid extra cheese. You can also make a side salad.
