Because there are so many things to see and do when you are in Las Vegas, you may find yourself a little overwhelmed when it comes to dining. Food is typically not cheap in Las Vegas, but there are still a few places around in which you can get a deal on dining. If you do your research properly, you will be able to find some good deals on inexpensive food in Las Vegas.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Research on the Internet for the latest in food deals in Las Vegas. There are several websites that list the latest deals both on and off the strip. Food can be really expensive on the Las Vegas strip, but if you go just a couple of blocks away from it, you will pay half the price. Find out online where the latest deals are that are close to where you are staying.
Step2
Talk to staff at the front desk of the hotel where you are staying. If you have not had time before your trip to do some research, talk to the employees at the front desk where you are staying. Since they are residents of the area, they will be able to tell you where to go to get some of the best eats and some of the best deals.
Step3
Eat downtown instead of on the strip. You can take a shuttle to the downtown casino area if you are not staying there. The same types of food downtown is about half the price of food that you would find on the main strip. They have a nice selection of food and you are sure to find something that you would enjoy at a lower cost.
Step4
Rent a vehicle and travel to nearby towns. Next to Las Vegas is Henderson, which you can find all types of food from fancy restaurants to fast food. You can find all types of restaurants in neighboring towns ranging from sit down meals to buffets that are not located in casinos.
Step5
Purchase a coupon booklet either online or at casinos. You can find tons of different coupon booklets to save you a lot of money. Most of the coupons you will find in a booklet are 2 for 1 meals and buffets, which will save a couple a lot of money to eat great meals at a lot cheaper rate. Most coupon booklets are fairly inexpensive, usually less than $10, and you can save hundreds.

Tips & Warnings

  • Coupon booklets can save you a lot of money.
  • At any places you eat you can plan to spend more than you normally would when you are at home because prices on everything in Las Vegas are inflated.
