Drawing the characters of the animated show Dragonball can be a lot of fun. If you enjoy these animated shows and characters you will probably enjoy drawing them. In fact, drawing son Goku can be a lot of fun. Espeically, now that the audience does not see a lot of son Goku, since he is all grown up. We are pretty used to seeing the adult Goku. However, this is a chance to look back on the Dragonball series and learn how to draw son Goku - Goku when he was just a child. Drawing the children in Dragonball can be quite different than drawing the adults. Goku has a meaner looking face as an adult, but a more cartoonish and innocent face as son Goku.

      Son Goku Face Outline

      Draw the face outline. Begin by drawing the outline of son Goku's face. There is one trapezoid shape for the forehead, a smaller trapezoid for the middle of his face, and a smaller shape trapezoid and triangle for son Goku's chin. In the last shape is where you'll need to draw son Goku's mouth and nose.

      Son Goku Eyes and Ears

      Draw son Goku's Eyes and Ears. Draw Goku's eyes in the middle trapezoid. The left eye covers the trapezoid from top to bottom, while the right eye does not. Each pupil is placed on the inside of the eye to create a cross eyed effect. Son Goku's ears are on the outside of the middle trapezoid. They are simple, oval shapes.

      Son Goku Eyebrows

      Draw son Goku's Eyebrows. Son Goku's eyebrows are large and point downwards. Create son Goku's smirk and pointed nose. Color in son Goku's pupils and eyebrows. The eyebrows do enter the top trapezoid, but only a little.

      Son Goku Ears

      Draw the Ears. Finish the details in son Goku's ears.

      Draw son Goku's Hair. Son Goku has three spikes on the right side and five spikes on the left side. He also has bangs that come down with two spikes on either side and three spikes in front. Add stray hairs where necessary.

      Start erasing. It is time to erase all of the guidelines that are not needed for the final drawing. Add son Goku's neck, which consists of two straight lines down.

      Start to color. Use your coloring pencils to color in your drawing of son Goku.
