How to Create a Comcast Email Address

The Internet is filled with users browsing around and going to billions of websites everyday, but for personal messages and other things, many of these users rely on their email. There are several email service providers like Gmail, Yahoo!, MSN and Comcast. However, Comcast is also an Internet provider and cable provider and you must sign up for one of their services to get an email account. Read on to learn how to create a Comcast email address.

Instructions

1. Go to the Comcast website. Their main page will load, showing you several different options. On the left side of the page there will be a list of options that you may choose from.

2. Click the link that says shop for “Shop for Comcast Services.”

3. Enter in your street address, apartment number and your zip code.

4. Wait as the website processes the information and loads a new page for you.

5. Choose a product plan that Comcast offers. The best prices can be found in their bundles.

6. Check out and finish filling out all of the processing information.

7. Wait for your cable and Internet to be set up at your home. Once you have done this, you will receive the necessary log in information for the email account.

8. Go to Comcast.net as this is the home for users with accounts.

9. Click the “Sign In” button in the top left corner of the web page. Enter your Comcast email address and password and remember that the keys are case sensitive.

10. Click on the "Email" tab in the upper left hand corner once you have successfully logged in.

11. Browse around your in box, send messages, or update your address book. As long as you keep your Comcast account, you will be able to keep the email address.
