1
Write about what makes you angry. Don't mock the sincerity of punk music. Rage surges through the beats of some of the most classic punk songs. You aren't creating punk music because you love society as it is. You are rallying for truth!
-
2
Include irony in your lyrics. It isn't necessary to make your lyrics complex or intellectual, but they should be written with consideration for the audience and sincerity from the heart. Intelligence is apparent in the major punk rock songs.

3
Listen to the Sex Pistols. Play your favorite punk songs. Study the lyrics to the greatest punk songs in history. Never copy or emulate these songs, but study the songs. Dissect the songs. Study what went into the making of a great punk song.

Try brainstorming. Set aside half an hour each day simply to get out thoughts that muddle your mind. Write down any lyrics ideas and anything else that comes to your mind. Simply let your mind write freely. No pressures should be applied, and no expectation should be set upon these writing sessions. Let your creativity run wild.

5
Think of your lyrics writing as composing poetry. Write from the heart, and think of a story before the beginning of a song. Sometimes the stories take shape in the midst of a song, but it's a great idea to have an outline.
