Headbands are one of the hottest accessories out there right now. Use your own hair to make a stylish fashion statement. Follow these steps so you can create your own headband using only your hair and some bobby pins. You'll be the next fashion icon in your hometown.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Elastic band
  • Bobby pins
Step1
Take all of your hair and put it up in an elastic band.
Step2
Using a comb or a pick, remove a small section of hair from the right side of your head (about 1 inch across) while leaving the rest of your hair secured in the elastic band.
Step3
Take the piece of hair that you removed from the band and twist it from top to bottom.
Step4
Take the twisted piece of hair and move it across your head (where a headband would go) all the way to the left side of your head and secure it with bobby pins.
Step5
Remove your hair from the elastic band and add some curls then go ahead and show it off.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you have bangs, you do not have to secure them in the elastic band; just leave them out.
