Start by choosing your favorite essential oil. Make sure the label says 100 percent essential oil. Fragranced, scented, natural and perfume oils are often synthetic. Manufacturers combine hundreds of chemicals to come up with the fragrance.
-
2
Place about ¼ cup of vodka into a small glass container and add 5 drops of your favorite essential oil. Some people like to take the petals of an organic flower and squeeze out the oil. You may use this oil in combination with another essential oil or by itself. You may use more or less oil depending on how strong you want the perfume to be.

Place the lid or cover on the container and let it sit anywhere from 48 hours to 1 month. The longer you let it sit, the stronger the scent will be.
-
4
Add to the mixture 2 tbsp. of distilled water. If the scent is too strong, add more water. Add 1 tbsp. at a time until you’re comfortable with the scent.
-
5
Make the fragrance last longer by adding 1 tbsp. of glycerin.
