    • 2

Take your favorite recipes and handwrite and/or type them on the decorative recipe cards. Set them aside for later use.

    • 3

Remove the decorative craft pieces from the scrapbook kit. Spread them in a somewhat orderly fashion to be able to view what is available for use. Pick out pieces of decorative paper of your choosing, that comes within the scrapbook kit, and/or color construction paper.

    • 4

Take the pre cut decorative appliqués and arrange them in a decorative fashion on the color paper. Once you have determined how you want each page to look, begin to glue the decorative appliqués on the color paper. Add the completed decorative recipe cards by gluing the bottom of the cards and placing on top of the arranged decorative appliqués. Make some extra colorful pages, so you can add additional recipes as you collect them.

    • 5

Place the finished decorative recipe pages into a plastic sheet protector. This will keep the sheets from getting messed up while cooking. If a little debris from the recipe splatters on them, they can easily be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth.

    • 6

Insert the filled sheet protectors into the binder. On a separate sheet of construction paper, use the left over craft materials to make a pretty cover for the binder. If the binder has a plastic cover sheet, insert the completed decorative color in the plastic protector.

    • 7

If your binder does not have a protective sheet, take glue stick and rub the back of the finished cover until it covers the entire back of the sheet. Turn the sheet over and position it where it is centered on the front of the binder. Press firmly. Let the glue dry overnight. Recipe book is ready to use.
