-
Step 1
Get a group of friends together for a home poker night. Crazy Pineapple Poker is the type of game that fits in great with a home poker group that enjoys games such as Texas Holdem Poker and Omaha Hold Em Poker. There is a slight twist to Crazy Pineapple Poker, which sort of explains the word “crazy” in the title. Crazy Pineapple is best for groups of five to eight players.
-
Step 2
Deal three hole cards to each player. Once all the players at the table have received all three face-down cards, each player can look at their own hole cards.
-
Step 3
Conduct the first wagering round. This round begins with the player sitting one seat to the left of the dealer.
-
Step 4
Deal “the flop” to the center of the playing table. “The flop” consists of three community cards that can be used by all the players at the table--to create their best poker hand at the end of the game. Later in the deal there will be two more community cards, which can also be used by all the players at the table.
-
Step 5
Discard one of your hole cards. Now that you have seen “the flop,” you must decide which of your two hole cards to keep in your hand. Discard the one that you do not want to keep.
-
Step 6
Conduct a second wagering round. This betting round begins with the player sitting two seats to the left of the dealer
-
Step 7
Deal an additional card into the center of the table, known as “the turn” or “fourth street.” This is another community card.
-
Step 8
Conduct the third round of wagering. The betting begins with the player sitting three seats to the left of the dealer.
-
Step 9
Deal the final community card to the center of the table. This card is known as “the river.”
-
Step 10
Conduct the final round of betting. This round begins with the player sitting four seats to the left of the dealer.
-
Step 11
Reveal your cards and declare your hand. Each player that has not folded during a wagering round now reveals their hole cards and declares their hand. They may use any combination of their two hole cards and five community cards to form their best five card poker hand. The player with the best five card poker hand wins the pot.
