How to Snowboard Breckenridge
Breckenridge, Colorado is a ski resort with five terrain parks and four halfpipes. Breckenridge's 155 trails offer a wide range of difficulty, meaning there's something for everyone if you know where to look. Breckenridge is great for snowboarders, too.

Purchase a lift ticket at one of the ticket windows located at the base of Peaks 8 and 9. Or, try to book your lift ticket on the internet ahead of time, which may save you money.

Pick up a free Breckenridge map at the base area to help you decide which trails to take.

Beginning snowboarders should stick to green and blue trails. Ride the QuickSilver Super6 on Peak 9 to access several green trails, such as Red Rover and Lower Lehman. The Beaver Run SuperChair on Peak 9 serves multiple blue trails, as does the Independence SuperChair on Peak 7.

Advanced riders should try Peak 10, which is accessible on the Falcon SuperChair at the top of the QuickSilver Super6. Peak 8 offers expert terrain via the Imperial Superchair, the highest lift in North America.

Choose the trail that's right for you, then take the corresponding ski lift.

If you've never snowboarded before, or you need a refresher, take a lesson at the Breckenridge Ski & Ride School.
Pay careful attention to trail signs while you're on the mountain, which will help you avoid getting on a trail that is above your skill level.
