How to Install Software for Dell Photo Printer 720

With any new printer comes new software. Before you can use the printer you need to install the software that comes with it. It is a simple process that will not take long to implement, and will make using your printer very easy. Without the software installed for the printer, your computer will not know it is there, and you may as well not even have it in the first place. Follow these guidelines in order to get your software installed and your printer up and moving.

Things You'll Need

• Dell Photo 720 Printer
• Power cable
• USB cable
• Dell Photo 720 Disc

Instructions

1. Connect the printer to your computer with the USB cable.

2. Connect the printer's power by plugging one end of the cable into the printer, and the other into a power strip.

3. Insert the disc into your computer's disc drive. Allow it to start automatically, and follow the on screen instructions. If the software does not start automatically, refer to the next step for help.

4. Go to My Computer, and select the drive the disc is in. Double click this drive to get the disc to start running and follow the on screen instructions.

5. Upon following all the instructions on the screen, you should now have installed the software for your printer and be able to use it.
