How to Treat Girls With Respect

Treating girls with respect shouldn't be a difficult thing to do, although many guys seem to have a lot of trouble with it. But really, it's pretty easy and simple, not to mention that it's the right thing to do.

Instructions

1. Be nice. It's pretty plain and definitely simple, but will get you farther than any other thing you can do. It sounds so obvious, but many guys forget about it. If you stopped and thought "Am I just being nice?", many of your problems would probably be solved.

2. Think about your mother or sister. A general rule of thumb is that you shouldn't really treat any girl or woman much different than how you would treat your sister or mom. Obviously there are differences in certain situations, but generally speaking, you can't go wrong if you follow this rule.

3. Be honest. Honesty really is the key. Don't lie or fib to girls. When they'll find out--and secrets and lies have a way of being found out--you will lose a ton of brownie points. Girls respect honesty from a guy, even if it is negative, and in the end will feel respected if you are upfront with them about things. And if you lie to one girl, chances are others will find out and you will be in bigger trouble.

4. Err on the side of caution. If you don't know if something is going "too far" with a girl, it's probably best to slow it down and take the safer route rather than chancing things with a high-risk move. Girls will always respect you in the end for going too slow, but they will not respect it if you take things too fast. Erring on the side of caution can only help you, not hurt you.

5. To thine own self be true--and to the girl. Being truthful is different from being honest. Honest is about not lying; being truthful is about being yourself. Girls hate nothing more than when a guy acts one way and then totally changes their personality the next time. Nothing will turn a girl off from you more. This means that you should be acting relatively the same when you are with a girl and when you are with your friends. Obviously, there are going to be some thing that are different, but you should be relatively the same with everyone. Acting different with a girl is just disrespectful and will come back to haunt you in the end.

• It cannot be stressed enough that girls will talk. And when you do something wrong to one, expect many more to find out all about it. Before you know it, you will be on the crap list of an entire population and your reputation will be ruined.
