Once copying is complete press the circle button on the PS3 controller to got back and find the main "Music" folder. The music files from the iPod will have been stored in this folder and can now be played.

Tips & Warnings

  • Once inside of the Music folder in the iPod, do not worry that the music files are not named properly. Once the files are transferred to the PS3 it will read the AAC and MP3 tags and display the music files properly with artist and song names.
  • Depending on how many songs are on your iPod it may take several minutes to copy all of the files.
  • Please note that purchase/protected music may not play on your PS3 after copying due to copyright protection.
