Instructions
  1. Step 1

Check out travel websites like those in the Resources section below to find great deals on hotels in Los Angeles. Once you have seen the hotels that offer the cheapest rates, go to the websites of those hotels for even better deals. Often hotels post deals on their websites that are better than those found on most travel sites.

  2. Step 2

If you're on a super-tight budget, rent a car for cheap and stay in a hotel right outside the city in Burbank, Universal City or Pasadena. This can also cut costs for hotels.

  3. Step 3

Book your hotel room in advance. This tends to save money because hotels will often rent out rooms at a lower rate when the travel dates are further away. The Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills has a 21-day advance purchase special for a room with double occupancy for $219 a night. While this price tag is a little pricey, it is reasonable for a glitzy hotel stay in Los Angeles.

  4. Step 4

Book a room at the Figueroa Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. This hotel features sultry, Moroccan-themed rooms and a plush vibe and usually ranges from $150-$200 a night.

  5. Step 5

Book a hotel room on the beach in Venice Beach at the Cadillac Hotel. This hotel, just steps from the beach, is geared towards the budget conscious and features art deco decor.
