How to Add a Wordpress Blog to a Website Using Yahoo Web Hosting

• Yahoo! web hosting account
• Internet access
• Computer

1. To log into your Yahoo! web hosting account (required) please use the link provide below in Resources below. You will need to enter your username and password.
2. Click on the “Create and Update” tab on the web hosting control panel command bar.
3. Once you have accessed the “Create and Update” section of the control panel, there will be several tables listed underneath the command bar. Locate the table labeled “Blog Tools.” Click on the arrow on the upper left side of this table to access it.
4. To add a Wordpress blog to your website, left-click on the “Wordpress Blog” link inside of the “Blog Tools” table underneath the web hosting control panel command bar. This will take you to a Wordpress activation form.
5. Enter the desired username, password and email address into the Wordpress activation form. Uncheck the “Make Blog Homepage” box. Select the radio button that is labeled “Standard” under “Select Activation Path” and click “Next” to continue. It will prompt you to agree to the Terms of Service. Click “I Agree” to continue, and then click on the “Activate” button to activate your blog.
6. You can access your blog at anytime by visiting your website URL and adding “/Blog” to the website URL address. For example, a blog added to “The.com” could be accessed by entering in “The.com/blog” into your web browser. Use your username and password to log into the blog, enter posts or make any changes.
