How to Do the Sleeping Vishnu Pose
Sleeping vishnu, or anantasana, is a side balancing pose that builds strength in the legs and sides, while toning the abdomen. Read on to learn how to do the sleeping vishnu pose.

Begin on your back and roll over to your right side.

Stretch yourself out into a straight line. Bend your right elbow and support the right side of your face with your right hand.

Flex both of your feet and bend your left leg.

If you do not have much hamstring flexibility, simply hold your left big toe with your left hand and practice straightening in micro movements.

If you have some flexibility in your hamstrings straighten your leg as much as possible while continuing to hold the big toe.

Engage your abdominal muscles to stay balanced on your side.

Roll onto your left side and repeat.
