Step 1
Insert the game into your Nintendo DS. You need to put it in before you turn your Nintendo DS on so the game will load properly. Once you have loaded the game and turned your system on, you are ready to play. Select the game from the main menu screen on your Nintendo DS. It will just take a few moments to turn on.

Select from the two options on the main menu. If you are playing the single player game, or are the only one with a game cartridge, you will need to select the "Log In" button. This will allow you to start up the game and be able to play as a single person. From here you can play games, as well as chat with virtual characters to earn more points.

Play games, chat with others, and shop in the single player mode. While you will earn more points if you are chatting with others wirelessly, you can still earn a lot of points by yourself if you have a little time to play. They only have a couple of games, such as hi-lo. In hi-lo you need to guess a number between one and nine, and the closer you are to the number they choose you will earn more points. But, if you are not even close you may even lose points.

Step 4
Chat with a virtual character. They will ask you yes and no questions, and the longer you keep them talking to you, the more points you will earn. You can learn a lot of valuable information chatting with the virtual character on Ping Pals, and it is a great way to pass the time in a long car ride.

Play games wirelessly with your friends. If you have other friends who have Nintendo DS systems, you can connect wirelessly if you are close by and play games with them to earn even more points. Start your own chat room with your friends and earn 10 points for every 100 letters you type. This is a great opportunity to earn big points and have a lot of fun.
