How to Put Together a Romantic Dinner
Putting together a romantic dinner is fun and easy to do. The main and most important part is to have two people who are in or beginning a romantic relationship. The goal of the romantic dinner is to set a mood for the evening. The mood will be full of promise, anticipation, and adventure. The choice of food is secondary although some people like to serve things like lobster, fillet mignon, oysters, shrimp, or even pasta. The menu itself is up to you and your partner's personal taste. A good bottle of wine is essential along with roses, soft music, and candlelight.

First you must choose where the dinner is to take place. Most people opt for their own home where they can be alone, but you can set up a romantic dinner on a moonlit beach, a balcony, or even a private table at your favorite restaurant. For this romantic dinner we'll choose our house. Make sure you two can be alone and make sure also that the house is clean.

Set the table with a centerpiece of red roses with a couple of tapered candles on each side of the roses. Get your food prepared and set the mood with some light love songs to play in the background.

Take your rose petals and toss them gently on the floor making a path from the door to the table, so that when your loved one arrives they can follow the rose petal path. Have dinner on the table when they arrive so that you can spend every minute with them and not in the kitchen serving. Have your bottle of wine open and on the table along with the wine glasses. Wine usually needs a little time to breathe, so having it open allows you the opportunity to pour it and savor it without delay.

Many couples find it a turn-on to feed each other. Feeding each other chocolate-covered strawberries can be very romantic. Have another location ready for you to retire to after dinner so that you are not staring in each others eyes over a mess on the table. If you have a fire place that would be ideal, however a dimly lit living room would also suffice.
