How to Find Real Estate Brokers in Michigan

Real estate brokers are most likely the easiest people to find. Why? Because they want to be found. You can look up real estate brokers in any state and find a ton of them, but finding the right broker for you may take a little more work. Personality and aggressiveness of the broker are two of the most important attributes to look for so you can be confident in your choice.

Check with a relocation specialist. If you are not already in the state of Michigan or the county in Michigan where you want to buy a house, call a local Century 21 or Caldwell Banker office and ask to speak to one of their relocation specialists. Most of the big chain real estate offices can direct you to one of their offices in another state or county.

Write two different checklists. On the first one, list all the features you want in the property you are looking for. For example, If it's a commercial property, list the type of property and the rate of return you want. If it's a primary home, list how many bedrooms and bathrooms and whether or not you want an in-ground pool. On the second list, write what you want in a broker. Should she be very aggressive or laid back? Check for designations and certification, such as specialists in some areas of real estate. Make sure you get matched up with a broker who fits your needs.
