Step 1
Go online to find cheap cigarettes. Some websites will offer tax-free cigarettes, but those are the ones which you want to avoid. While tax-free does make for cheap cigarettes, the government itself will come back and tax you eventually, creating a sizable tax bill (see Resources below).

Visit a Native American Reservation. There are the usual brands on the reservations, and it may be worth the drive if you are getting more than a few cartons. Another option is to visit a reservation online (see Resources below).

Purchase cheap cigarettes at a smoke shop. People presume because this is a specialty shop that prices are higher than usual. That is a misconception. There is a great selection of all brands of cigarettes, cigars and lighters all at cheaper than usual prices. The best way to get cheap cigarettes in a shop such as this is to inquire about rolling your own cigarettes.

Step 4
Fill out cigarette survey papers and return them. This gets you on a mailing list for the cigarette companies who will occasionally send you money-saving coupons. This is a great way to find cheap cigarettes, and if you sign up the non-smokers in your house, you can get money savings coupons for them as well!
