1. Put more air in the tires. Don’t go over the manufacturer's suggested pressure, but keep the tires aired up, and you’ll create less friction and get more speed.

2. Put a special exhaust on your motorbike. Find a device that is tuned to produce the perfect back pressure on the engine, and it will give you more power and better gas mileage.

3. Carry as little weight on your motorbike as possible. Don’t take anything with you that you do not absolutely need. Added weight will drag down your speed.

4. Keep your motorbike tuned; install fresh spark plugs, and make certain your carburetor settings are right.

5. Burn the recommended fuel octane or go one grade higher. Cheap fuel might be tempting, but it will slow you down. Pay the price for higher-grade gasoline and go.
