Instructions

    • 1

Install the Kodak Easyshare software onto your computer. Your camera does not need to be connected to the computer. Just insert the CD and follow the installation instructions that pop up. For a PC, you’ll probably want to let the installer upload the software automatically (unless you like to customize your installations), and make sure no other programs are running on your computer when installing. Mac installation is also straightforward.

Once you’ve shot pictures to upload, grab your camera and a USB cord and head to your computer. Your camera should come with a USB cord in the camera package.

    • 3

Connect the USB cord into a USB port on your computer and into your Kodak C643 camera. The Kodak website recommends that your camera be turned off when connecting the cord.

Follow the instructions on your screen when the software pops up. Usually it will ask you if you’d like to transfer all the pictures on your camera or just some. Either choose to transfer all, or select the pictures you’d like to transfer individually. Once your pictures are transferred, the Kodak Easyshare software will pop up onto your screen with your newly uploaded pictures.

Use the Kodak software to edit and add flair to your photos. By using the Kodak Easyshare software for your C643 camera, you can edit your pictures, crop them, reduce red eye, change to black and white or sepia and give extra sparkle to any picture you’d like!

Tips & Warnings

  • Give the Kodak Easyshare program your email address, and they'll automatically send you updates for the software.

  • It's a good idea to double check in the My Pictures folder on your computer to ensure that all your pictures transferred successfully before you delete them off your camera. Better safe than sorry!
