Using a picture in your email is a great way to personalize your message and give it some style. You can place a piece of clip art or even a photograph directly into an email using Microsoft Word. The benefits of sending a picture in the email instead of attaching it to the email are many. The person who receives the picture will not need to download the actual picture to their computer if they do not want to. This can save memory on their computers.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can insert a small picture into an email as a signature line for yourself. For example, place a small picture of a rose before you type your name to close an email.
  • Do not insert more then two pictures in one email. Doing so will make the email hard to send and open. If you need to send more then two pictures, attach them.
