Southern Belle Hibiscus flowers can be: Deep Pink, Light Pink, red, mixed, or white. I am going to explain a little bit about growing the flowers in my article.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Full Sun
  • Normal, Sandy, or Clay Soil
  • Neutral, Alkaline, or Acid Soil Ph
  • Average or moist soil
Step1
Plant seeds in well-drained soil or raised beds and containers. May also be grown in a sunny spot indoors, as a houseplant.
Step2
Protect plants from cold weather conditions, such as extreme wind.
Step3
Water deeply and frequently, and treat for insects,if needed
Step4
Get rid of blooms that have died or are falling off.
Step5
Blooms begin in early summer and continue over a long season.

Tips & Warnings

  • These flowers will die down in the winter, but will come back slowly after Spring. Be patient!

on 7/24/2008 Great, I love hibiscus. It's a flower that means blessings. I have a hibiscus plant, but it is bigger, I can't remember the name of it. It is gorgeous!
