Step1
Again, it is all about "deciding" to write. Your first step in any writing task should be to decide to write. Give yourself permission, reason, excuse, commands and demands --to write!
Whew! Okay that was the easy part. Next step?
Step2
Sticking to your word. Put your pen to paper or get out the computer and open a clean page.
And now, listen to what I have to say here first: When I came to this page on the computer, I was totally exhausted after having, well, quite a full day. And, I decided to write an article and then , boom! As my fingers were on the keyboard, my eyes closed.
And, when my eyes opened, I figured that it was time to sleep since I could not keep my eyes open. Yet, I had made the decision to write at least one article tonight, and here I am .
When I remembered my decision, it was an easy task to keep on writing and keep on typing.
So, what was my title going to be? As soon as I realized that I began writing, and then closed my eyes, the only reasonable title for my article tonight is "How to write with your eyes closed".
So, I put that at the top and so far I am still awake and still writing. And that is when I thought of Helen Keller and wondered how she wrote her book. Did she write it in Braille? Or did she dictate it to someone? Was Braille even invented then--probably not, but I am not sure.
See what happens when you write with your eyes closed? What just happened to me. I am writing about something that I do not know much about, yet, I am writing and when I am done, this will be a finished article.
And, biggest and yet, someone read it and is interested in it. Are you interested enough to leave a public comment? Hope so.
Step3
Okay, in summary (and adding the third step-wow, the third step; now that is a whole other article).
A. Decide to write. B. Gather your writing tools (whether that be a tape recorder, a pen , a paper, a friend, or a computer. C. Begin by putting a few words on the paper and you are WRITING!
And, yes, even with your eyes closed.
S0 that's how you do it. If you can, you keep opening your eyes back up to write more and more sentences until you have finished the article.
Key--fight fatigue. Even if you have to use scotch tape to tape your eyelids open, well do it. (Just kidding)!
What I mean is just keep on keeping on. Keep on writing. No matter what, just keep on writing.
Please leave a note? and a rating? Thank you so very much.
Now, I am going to sleep.
