Have you ever eaten bar-b-que beef ribs? If not, they are delicious when cooked right. Here is a recipe that will have everybody begging for more. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 1 cup Bar-B-Que Sauce
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1 lb Ribs
  • 1 cup Olive Oil
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Pot
  • Water

Instructions

    • 1

      Prepare the grill, especially if you are like me and prefer using charcoal.

      Heat for 15 minutes

      Put the ribs, salt and pepper in a pot of water and place on medium heat for 15 minutes. The object is to get the meat tender so don't boil.

      Mix the bar-b-que sauce, ketchup, brown sugar and honey. If the sauce is too thick, you can thin it with a little water.

      Drain the water off the ribs and let cool.

      Baste the ribs with olive oil and place on grill.

      Cook ribs until brown on both sides. Once ribs are brown, baste lightly with olive oil. Now, baste with barb-b-que sauce. Grill another 3-5 minutes and serve.

      Enjoy.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add potatoes and corn-on-the cob to the grill while cooking ribs. Add a green salad and make it a meal.
