Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup butter 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  1. Step 1

Melt the butter. Stir in the cocoa. Allow mixture to cool. Beat eggs and slowly add the sugar. Add the vanilla gradually. Stir in the cocoa mixture. Gradually add the flour and baking powder. Stir together until blended but don't over do it.

  2. Step 2

Grease an 8-inch round pan and pour in the batter. Cook at 325 degrees for about 25 minutes. You will know it's done when you insert a toothpick into the center and it comes out clean.

  3. Step 3

Chocolate icing: Mix 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, 2 tbsp of water and cocoa powder in a bowl until smooth. Pour onto the brownies and spread with a spatula. You can also warm in the microwave for about 10 seconds and drizzle the icing over the top.

  4. Step 4

To make the vanilla icing: Mix 1/4 cup powdered sugar and water in a bowl. When the mixture is smooth, you can drizzle the vanilla icing in opposite patterns compared to the chocolate icing. Make designs or write your name. Be creative!
