Making Croutons is fast and easy.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 2 lg. garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tbsp. dry parsley
  • Several slice of day old bread or buns
  • Knife
  • Oven
  1. Step 1

    Mix the Cheese, Parsley, Garlic and Olive Oil ingredients together.

  2. Step 2

    Using pastry or basting brush, brush both sides of slices with oil mix.

  3. Step 3

    Cut Bread into small squares.

  4. Step 4

    Place in a single layer on cookie sheet

  5. Step 5

    Bake at 325 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden.

  6. Step 6

    Cool.

  7. Step 7

    Keep in air tight, sealed container.

    Keeps 4-6 weeks.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use Croutons in Soups and Salads.
  • For variety, You can use what ever herb or spice mix your family likes.
