HAVE SUPER LONG HAIR!
HAVE SUPER LONG HAIR!

Your hair can be super long, super fast by following this simple routine. In less that a month you will see dramatic results in your hair quality and length!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a prong hairbrush
  • a boar bristle hairbrush
  • a natural shampoo
  1. Step 1

Only wash your hair every 3-4 days. Washing it more than that will strip the oils from your hair, leaving it dull and dry. Keep your hair in braids during the last couple days to make it easier.

  2. Step 2

Use a prong hairbrush and massage your scalp with it every night before bed. This activate your hair follicle to grow more hair. Rub the brush all around for about 10 minutes.

  3. Step 3

After massaging your head, brush your hair with long stroke with your boar bristle hairbrush. This will pull the oils from your roots down into the ends of your hair, redistributing the oils.

  4. Step 4

When you do wash your hair, use a natural shampoo. Try to find one that uses natural ingredients instead of harsh chemical that could strip away your hairs natural oils.

on 12/3/2008 I have always recommended these tips to my clients, but I never though to use both types of brushes, great Idea!

on 11/19/2008 you're absolutely correct. Most people call it disgusting, but only washing your hair twice a week, and using a REAL boar bristle brush will increase growth dramatically. I do these exact same things, just as she has them posted (except the scalp massage, I use my fingers) - my hair is about 2 inches below the bottom of my back pockets. The boar bristle brush is important, its also important that you're the only one that uses it. The bristles actually hold in excess oil from your hair, and distribute it thru the rest of your hair - so even after you just wash your hair, you can still spread those healthy oils. I would also recommend a leave in conditioner of some sort, its not needed, but it helps when you have hair past you're belly button.
